Dear Friend,
I feel it is only appropriate to begin this way due to the fact that - it is how one of my favorite books begins and because I consider whoever reads my posts, a friend. Last year I began college. Now that I am a sophomore and life is still as crazy as ever, I'm goin' hold true to what I told my English1010 professor, who taught me my first semester, and that is - to create a blog. At first, my blog was under an alias and I was just goin' use it for journal writing purposes. But then I thought, that's a bit selfish, what is the use of having a blog if no one that I care about or has somehow touched my life in some way see it or grow from it, as I do. And maybe, you can gain a different perspective on things. I know not everyone will agree with me, and that's okay. Embrace your differences. So here's to me, embracing my uniqueness and beginning again, and writing for you and for myself, about all, or mostly all, the random wonderment that occurs in my head.

My verse.
To quote from Whitman,
“O me, O life of the questions of these recurring. Of the endless trains of the faithless. Of cities filled with the foolish. What good amid these, O me, O life? Answer: that you are here. That life exists and identity. That the powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse.”
“That the powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse.”
What will your verse be?
(from The Dead Poet Society)
I'm no expert on writing, nor do I consider myself a master on certain matters. All I know is, I am a simple person with my own extraordinary thoughts I believe can light a flame of inspiration. I hope that beginning this blog not only helps me un-jamble the musings that swim freely in my mind, but to touch and expand an individual's words that are not spoken out loud, but are felt and understood. To a new adventure!
